Ingredients for Orange, Pineapple & Banana Maca Smoothie
- Banana (l large, ripe)
- Orange juice, preferably fresh (you’ll need 1 cup; 3 or 4 oranges)
- Pineapple chunks, fresh or canned (you’ll need about 1 cup)
- Vanilla plant-based milk (oat, cashew, almond, etc.)
- Maca root powder
- Hemp seeds (small amount, optional)
- Ice cubes (a few)

Orange, Pineapple, & Banana Maca Smoothie
Banana, pineapple, and orange is a classic fruit trio for colder months. In this tasty maca smoothie, the maca root powder adds a nice boost of flavor and nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe banana, broken into several pieces
- 1 cup orange juice, preferably fresh
- 1 heaping cup or so pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
- 1 cup vanilla plant-based milk (oat, cashew, almond, etc.)
- 2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons maca root powder
- 1 to 2 tablespoons hemp seeds, optional
- A few ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and process until smoothly pureed. Divide between two or three large glasses.
- If too thick, add a bit more orange juice or plant-based milk. Serve at once.
